Battlestar Galactica Season 2 Review

Battlestar Galactica Season 2 is actually two separate box sets consisting of Season 2.0 and Season 2.5.

Battlestar Galactica Season 2 starts off where Season 1 left off. Just in case you have not seen Season 1 yet, I will not spoil anything here. I will say the series gets better with the twists and turns and suspenseful episode endings. Once again, the writing is excellent and the acting has improved with the actors becoming more accustomed with their characters. This really comes through when some characters are put into some interesting situations.

If you enjoyed Season 1, you will definitely enjoy Season 2. The storyline continues but it is definitely not more of the same. Battlestar Galactica Season 2.0 and Battlestar Galactica Season 2.5 should not be missed. The Season 2.0 extras are nothing special. This is because the Season 2.0 set was rushed to get it out before Season 2.5 aired on TV. The most notable extra on the Season 2.5 set is an extended version of the midseason cliffhanger episode "Pegasus."  Oops.
